ABOUT NEOVENATOR:

Neovenator salerii was the top terrestrial predator of its environment, and one of the largest fully terrestrial carnivores of Early Cretaceous Europe.

This holotype specimen was found alongside the Iguanodont Brighstoneus, though it is likely they were washed together by a flash flood.

Although the holotype specimen is only around 7 metres in length and nearly fully grown, other specimens of Neovenator suggest that different individuals could get larger.
