ABOUT TYRANNOSAURUS
Tyrannosaurus rex was the top predator of Maastrichtian North America, with a range spanning most of the western continent. It was an active hunter, with an immense bite force perhaps surpassing all animals extant and extinct.
Tyrannosaurus, from what specimens we currently have, remains the heaviest theropod (as of 2022), surpassing other giants like Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus in this regard (though not in length)
